Yu-Chen Liu, the student of professor Shih-Kang Lin , has received the scholarship from CALPHAD, Inc. This scholarship offers up to 10 Larry Kaufman Scholarship students who will give presentations at the CALPHAD meeting since 2007, and will cover the registration fee for the CALPHAD meeting. Yu-chen Liu, as the first Taiwan student who gets this award, is about to publish his paper “On the lattice stability of copper under current stressing” on the forty-fifth International Conference on CALPHAD in Awaji, Japan.
